What you need to know

If you are the victim of a miscarriage of justice, we will move heaven and earth to fully investigate the circumstances of your conviction, explore the possibility of new witnesses and endeavour to obtain any new forensic evidence that may be relevant to your case. We assist clients in the Court of Appeal and in applications to the Criminal Cases Review Commission, sometimes many years after a conviction where new evidence has come to light, working with some of the top barrister and forensic experts in the country. If you accept your guilt, but you believe that your sentence was excessive, we are able to advise you as to whether you have an arguable case to appeal your sentence and, if so, to submit an appeal against sentence on your behalf.

Please note that there is a 28 day time limit from the date of conviction for appeals against conviction, or from the date of sentence for appeals against sentence. In some circumstances it is possible to apply for permission to appeal out of time if there are are justifiable reasons for the delay. Our principle solicitor, Jeremy Moore, has 30 years of experience in representing clients in some of the most complex and high profile cases, fighting for his clients to try and achieve justice. Whether it is a case that has yet to go before the courts, or one where a person has already been convicted, we have access to some of the country’s leading barristers, forensic experts and private investigators to do everything we can to make sure that every single aspect of your case is fully explored and investigated.
