What you need to know

When a person is found guilty, or accepts their guilt, then the Crown will often seek to confiscate any assets that they assess to be the proceeds of crime. Often wholly unrealistic figures are arrived at which, if left unpaid, can result in an additional prison sentence. It is therefore vital that you have the best possible representation in challenging figures arrived at by the Crown, which will often require the instruction of forensic accountants to counter the figures arrived at. We have strong relationships with specialist forensic accountants who are able to present figures to counter those put forward by the prosecution.
