CRB Matters

Our consultant, David Wacks, heads up our CRB department and is dedicated solely to clearing criminal records wrongly showing on DBS checks, other than Convictions, from clients’ records such as:

1. Police Cautions, Warnings or Reprimands which can affect clients getting jobs or visas for the rest of their lives.

2. Objecting to disclosure on Enhanced DBS Certificates of incorrect/unproven allegations such as:

•   Allegations that the client has committed a crime even though they were never cautioned or charged or charged but acquitted.

•   Allegations they are a risk because they once had some mental health concern.

•   Allegations that they are a risk, because a relative, spouse or partner committed a crime and even if they are not even living in the same household.

3. Investigations by DBS to bar the person or by their professional regulators to sanction them merely because of either above issue being raised as a concern.
